Positive Discipline(PD) is a researched-based discipline model based on Positive Behavior Science, which believes that there is no such thing as a bad child just good or bad behavior. It is a model that aims to equip anyone working with children tools that help get to the root of bad behavior and focus on long-term effective correction. Our PD workshops are experimental and encourages participants to be active in the process of learning how to be kind and firm at the same time. 

Grown-up Tip: Be consistent with your expectations. Sometimes a child might try to test the limits by arguing with the rules. When this happens, neutralize negotiations by repeating one simple mantra as often as necessary: "I love you too much to argue." For more Positive Parenting tips visit this LINK.

RSVP: Registration Required; a minimum of 72 hours in advance
Minimum of 5 registrants required to run class. If class minimum is not met, a refund will be issued to those that have registered.

Fee:   $5 for Pretend City & OCAEYC Members and $10 for Non-Members
